no cool openings. just ed opening his pocket watch which says “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST”
it will be a “darker, and more relatable retelling of the story” aka grimdark and sexy
they’ll try to combine the two animes, but theyll also introduce new characters and storylines, and replace existing characters
instead of having anti-military undertones, it will be very pro-military and in fact be partially funded by the US military
greed is way less cool and likeable and is a kylo ren ripoff
scars storyline is unrecognizable. when he fights bradley he manages to wound him but gets fatally wounded himself and mustang is the one to finish bradley off
its also about “reverse racism” now

speaking of which, they arent going to get edwin right. edward and winry are going to be “friends” but they will hate each other. this is romantic somehow.
alex louise armstrong will be confirmed gay. he will also be the most pro-military character
they try to make father reasonable/sympathetic like they did with thanos
for some reason, mustang, ed, and izumi will be completely cured after the battle. mustang will get his sight back, ed gets his arm AND his leg, izumi gets her organs back
izumi has kids again
mustang becomes fuhrer. him being a war criminal goes unadressed
future ed is a deadbeat dad/winry is a stay at home mom
also all the survivors Will be paired off in straight romances, except for alex who gets a two second clip of him meeting garfield or garfunkle or whatever
alphonse will be entirely cgi
when ed fights pride, they will make his icarus/hubris/humility character arc painfully obvious. they also wont put any work into said character arc
