donald trumps freedom of speech is not under attack when he is barred from twitter or any other communications platform. he is more than capable of propagating a message without those tools. nothing is stopping him from releasing statements via his own website or giving a press conference or a public speech, etc. when you say it’s a violation of his rights to ban him, or anyone else, what you’re really saying is that everyone and anyone is entitled to visibility and easy access to those platforms’ userbases. that’s not true, has never been true, and will never be true.
well maybe an elected official shouldn’t be relying on a third party private corporation with a terms of service agreement that gives them the right to terminate any account in violation of its rules to communicate with his citizens!
