i forgot to mention that we put the tadpole in the backroom just until we decided what to do with it and the very next day two kids walk past me and the boy says “i can’t believe i left my tadpole here” and i said “that was yours?? hold on” and returned this kid’s tadpole and he looked so embarrassed
